NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 47.37 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 12.28 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 10.95 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 9.58 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 4.22 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.96 crore), Shriram EPC(number of shares traded: 3.46 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 3.11 crore), Tata Teleservices(number of shares traded: 2.84 crore) and YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.88 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:27AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 45.71 points down at 25095.7, while BSE Sensex was down 152.72 points at 82362.42 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Infosys Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
