Amid brisk winds and eager anticipation, the 10th Wolong Lake Winter Fishing Festival opened in Kangping County in Liaoning Province’s Shenyang on January 11. The event, which runs until mid-February, has drawn crowds of tourists from near and far. The opening ceremony was a celebration of the region’s rich cultural heritage, deeply rooted in winter fishing traditions. Against the frosty backdrop of Wolong Lake, visitors experienced the thrill of ice fishing, snow activities, and festive performances.
