Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos can make his long-awaited return to action when Los Blancos take on Alaves on Sunday afternoon, according to COPE.
Ceballos has been out of action for the last few weeks after picking up a bad injury in Real Madrid’s first-leg win over Real Sociedad in the semi-final of the Copa Del Rey in February.
His absence has been felt at the Bernabeu as they have craved for a player like him to control the tempo of the match.
However, Ceballos has been working hard in his recovery process, and has started training with the ball. He will be back for the game against Arsenal, but there are chances he plays at Alaves as well.
It would be better for Real Madrid if Ceballos gets a few minutes against Alaves before he lines up against Arsenal at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
It will be a huge boost for Carlo Ancelotti before the most important match of the season so far.
