Nestled amidst picturesque hills and terraced fields, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village in Leishan County, Guizhou Province offers visitors a unique glimpse into the traditional lifestyle and vibrant culture of the Miao ethnic group.

Literally meaning “a thousand-household Miao village,” it is one of the largest Miao villages in China. The well-preserved village is renowned for its traditional wooden stilt houses, intricate silver jewelry, colorful embroidery, and lively festivals. Visitors can explore the winding alleys, enjoy local Miao cuisine, and witness traditional performances there.
