Foshan Ancestral Temple was built during the Yuanfeng period of the Northern Song Dynasty more than 900 years ago, and has undergone more than 20 reconstructions and expansions.

These ceramic sculptures on the rooftops, rich in detail and vivid in imagery, are not only decorative elements but also a showcase of the remarkable traditional craftsmanship in the Lingnan region.
