The Open Thread/Daily Merengue is a place where you can discuss anything and everything related to football. Feel free to discuss the topics presented here, or start your very own discussions! The Open thread will be posted every day by one of the mods you’d totally treat to Greek cuisine: Valyrian Steel, Felipejack, Kung_Fu_Zizou (AKA KFZ), Juninho and, of course… yours truly.
History has Been Made
Can’t argue Real Madrid being the best team in the UCL. This is the club’s competition, where extraordinary miracles are performed. Perhaps, sometime, we’ll be able to see how many of these wins were comebacks, last minute etc.
What a Guy
I mean, the aura this guy has… It’s like he is a miracle boy. Body and maturity way beyond his years. Keep it up Jude. We love ya!
Still, there’s Another Hurdle Coming Up
We, as fans, may have one eye on the City 2nd leg, but the fact is that there’s a match to be played at the weekend. More precisely, we’re playing Osasuna away. Now, it may seem like a small game, mixed in with the Cities and all, but they are a tough team and the matchup is a potential banana peel of a game.
