During the Spring Festival, Beijing’s Moshikou Historical and Cultural Street in Shijingshan District came alive with a festive carnival. Visitors strolled through the bustling market, enjoyed traditional folk performances, and admired dazzling lantern displays, immersing themselves in the rich heritage of Beijing.

Once a vital camel caravan route connecting the Chinese capital to the frontier, this historic area is home to both nationally and locally protected cultural sites, along with well-preserved ancient residences and courtyards.
