Carlo the Cup King. The Trophy Cabinet Don.. About to do it again.

Real Madrid held on to a slender 1-0 advantage in what was a relatively open game against the a very aggressive La Real. It wasn’t clear if Ancelotti preferred the chaos or was just willing to live with it.

Endrick was the hero of the night with a wonderfully timed run and an even more memorable finish. What a gem!

Toni The Troll

Brahim The Centurion

One of the best signings in recent seasons. Brahim has delivered in his role off the bench and filling in for missing starters. While he hasn’t always been consistent as a starter, his impact has been significant to say the least.

Class Is Permanent

Tchouaméni’s return to form has been perfectly timed. Especially with Camavinga flailing after returning from injury. Tchouaméni looks like the player from last season who was good in midfield and good as a CB. Hopefully whatever issues he had are gone and he will continue to grow in this vein.

Lunin made a spectacular return to form with a memorable performance at Anoeta. The La Real team and fans alike will not forget him any sooner than Endrick.

Arda and Edu in the mud

Arda Guler needs to get his head right. For some reason he’s not showing the boldness that is expected of a youngster at Real Madrid. We’ve seen this boldness last season. This season he seems to just be making up the numbers. Maybe he’s not in a rush and thinks his time will merely come but that would be the wrong attitude. He sits next to Endrick in the dressing room, maybe some of Endrick’s fire will rub off on him.

Edu is a special talent and needs to get back on track. I think he will find his form again before the end of the season. We know how good he can be. Maybe he needs a few runouts at LB just to remind him of the privilege of starting in your preferred role.
